Clarion Gaming has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of experienced marketer Jeannette Gilbert to the post of Head of Marketing.
Jeannette, who has 20-years of experience gained in the events, travel and tourism sectors, joins from Reed Travel Exhibitions where she spent over three years as Head of Marketing and Communications. During her time at the FTSE 100 company, she was responsible for implementing a range of business-critical initiatives including the creation of a long-term marketing communications and partnerships strategy, the development and delivery of a brand content and channel distribution strategy in addition to launching two new brands.
Prior to heading the Marketing Department of Reed Travel Exhibitions, she launched an airline start-up in East Africa and developed marketing strategies for international conglomerates including Celebrity Cruises (part of Royal Caribbean) and multinational hotel and retail company Whitbread PLC.
Commenting on her appointment, Jeannette Gilbert said: “I am delighted to have joined the dynamic, ambitious, and highly professional team at Clarion Gaming. I am looking forward to expanding our customer base in core markets, championing the customer in everything that we do and increasing value through the development of new digital products such as ICE 365 and ICE Connect that support our core face-to-face live events.
“Gaming is a fascinating industry and I am looking forward to working with our customers and using the power of the Clarion owned brands to meet their business needs as everyone recalibrates for the post-Covid gaming economy starting with September’s iGB Live! and of course February’s return of ICE London and iGB Affiliate London.”
Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming commented: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Jeannette’s calibre and experience to the Clarion Gaming team. She has a track record of driving creative marketing strategies, building brands and all of the time putting the customer front and centre stage. I am sure she will prove to be a great asset to Clarion Gaming and by extension to our international community of stakeholders.”
