Mexico City, July 24, 2023.- Codere, a leading multinational in the entertainment and gaming sector in Europe and Latin America, is proud to announce the Ghostbusters team as the winner of the exciting 'Codere Mexico Cup'.
The amateur soccer tournament, held on July 23, brought together thirty-two mixed teams and close to 250 participants at the headquarters of Club de Fútbol Monterrey, Rayados.The champions will have the opportunity to travel to Madrid in December to play the grand international final of the tournament at the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid C.F., in Valdebebas. The event had a varied participation of teams made up of friends, work colleagues or family members, with an outstanding 25% female participation, which demonstrates the very high level of competitiveness of this edition.
Among the various tournament attendees, will be the famous youtuber Jero Freixas and the legendary Pibe Valderrama, ambassador of the company in Latin America, who played in some of the exciting matches, stands out. Both joined the awards ceremony along with the other players, the organization and the guests.
The Rayados field, official venue of the event
The BBVA Stadium of the Monterrey Rayados Football Club, sponsored by Codere, was the official venue for the matches of the different teams, who proudly wore the official Codere kit.

The spectacular deployment of the event had the collaboration of more than 120 people who worked in a coordinated manner to ensure the success of participation and follow-up.
In addition, the participants enjoyed moments of relaxation and entertainment in the exclusive Coca-Cola Club Lounge, where they had access to catering services and various leisure activities.
Thanks to this new edition of the Cup, Codere gets even closer to its followers, generating unique experiences and showing its ability to organize global events. This has helped to consolidate the brand internationally, positioning it as one of the hundred most valuable according to the prestigious Brand Finance ranking, for the seventh consecutive year.
