LAS VEGAS (Oct. 29, 2024) – Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the newest luxury resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, has appointed Thomas Evans to the role of Chief Marketing Officer. A lifelong Nevadan with nearly 30 years of leadership experience in hospitality marketing and brand development,
Mr. Evans is responsible for shaping the global image of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, while building off of an incredible first year of operation that has garnered multiple accolades, including a coveted spot on TIME Magazine’s list of “World’s Greatest Places 2024.”
“Throughout his career, Tom has consistently proven himself to be one of the most innovative and respected hospitality executives in our industry, and this is exactly why he’s the perfect person to be the architect of our brand’s identity,” says Fontainebleau Las Vegas President Maurice Wooden. “Tom will shape the way our resort connects with guests, so that every interaction – no matter the medium – will remain true to the Fontainebleau brand while guiding us forward in an increasingly competitive market.”
Mr. Evans has already begun serving in his new role. He joins Fontainebleau Las Vegas following a successful tenure as Chief Marketing Officer at Dreamscape Companies, where he has overseen marketing during the renovations and rebrand of the off-Strip Rio hotel and casino. He has been involved in the opening of more than 10 hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Missouri, and has held executive leadership roles at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, CityCenter, and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, among others.
