The 24th weekly BTC tournament took place on March 15. Russian player "Evgg" claimed the championship, securing 0.4 BTC in prize money (approximately $30,000). Meanwhile, Taiwanese players "Hong-An Wei" and "Lin Hong" finished in second and third place, earning 0.2 BTC and 0.1 BTC, respectively.
So far, countless players worldwide have won BTC prizes by participating in these tournaments. For instance, over the past 24 weeks, 36 Taiwanese players have collectively won 4.285 BTC (around $420,000), averaging approximately $10,000 per player. The MTT Sports weekly tournament spans three days. From Tuesday to Saturday, players can earn tournament seats by participating in free qualifier events. Those who secure a seat can then compete for BTC prizes in the main event on Saturday. After two days of elimination rounds, the top 27 players in the finals share the weekly 1 BTC prize pool.
