DR Gaming Technology (DRGT™) proudly installed its state-of-the-art casino management system and cashless gaming solution at the Il Palazzo casino in San Lorenzo, Paraguay in August.
San Lorenzo is located about 9km Southeast of Paraguay’s capital city, Asunción and forms part of the greater Gran Asunción, bordered by the cities of Luque to the North, Ñemby to the South, Fernando de la Mora to the West, and Capiatá to the East.
Il Palazzo, located in the Pinedo Shopping Centre, covers two floors and comprises 161 slots, 5 electronic roulette tables and an electronic blackjack table and is currently San Lorenzo’s largest casino.
“The change of system to DRGT is basically due to the competitiveness of the market. With this change we intend not only to improve the management of our casino in all its aspects, but also to be able to provide our customers with a unique gaming experience” said Casino Manager Daniel Pastor, adding that: “….customer relationship management as the main attraction of Il Palazzo, where rewarding each of the people who visit us remains key to our success.”

The IL Palazzo installation took two days, with a day dedicated to each of the venue’s two floors to mitigate against any player or operational disruptions. In entirety the solution comprised:
- the upgrade of all player tracking interface units to DRGTs 8.8” drScreenUltra
- installation of the Company’s full casino, cashless, and cashier management system
- an all-new player loyalty suite
- DRGT's drMediaManager; a solution that affords IL Palazzo casino the ability to design, configure and implement their own jackpots and jackpot themes, as well as schedule and deploy static, video, or streamed content to any selection of player interface units and/or casino digital signage.
The installation was carried out by floor, each floor took one day of installation and after that had a ten-day follow-up period, and the entire process was completed within three months after the signing of the agreement.
In closing Pastor added, “…what was really commendable was the fact that Alex and his team managed to complete the install within 3 months of us closing the deal; the support they provided us as operators was commendable”; Stiglich returned the compliment noting that, "..the support and commitment from the entire Il Palazzo team was instrumental in our delivery of the project on time and to the required standards.
