Smaller suppliers to casinos should really consider the low-cost strategy of taking space at the London Casino & Gaming Show that will co-habit ExCeL with the EAG and SIE Expo events (January 14-16).
That’s the view of Greg Bailey, who is heading up sales of space at the new casino show.
He said: “Casinos are supplied by many different industries, especially when taking into account the high rollers and VIP guests that frequent them. Although these elite customers only make up around one percent of frequent visitors, they account for 25 percent or more of casino revenue. This figure gets higher when taking into account the effect of casino tourism.”
Therefore, said Greg, casinos are constantly seeking ways to attract and keep high rollers coming back. “One way is by offering them special perks and rewards. These can include VIP treatment such as exclusive events, luxury holidays, extravagant gifts, private charters to get them to and from the casinos, etc. We approach those small luxury suppliers who generally would not consider exhibiting at a casino exhibition and drive home the value that they can offer the operators. This would be particularly pertinent to those suppliers targeting the hospitality industry and wishing to further extend their reach into the casino market.”
Greg cites the London Casino & Gaming Show’s flexibility to cater for smaller exhibitors, with smaller booths so that they can network with the caisno operators, exhibit their products and services and keep costs to a minimum. “We also offer a first-time exhibitor discount to further encourage suppliers to enter the casino market.”
The organisers behind the London Casino & Gaming Show are engaging with operators, he said, to encourage their suppliers to consider exhibiting their products and services.
