Marina Bay Sands has resumed operations for our casino from Thursday, 5 August 2021, following a two-week pause from 22 July to facilitate extensive deep-cleaning.
The casino joins other venues and attractions at Marina Bay Sands that are currently operating, adhering to the highest safety, hygiene and testing standards, often going beyond regulatory guidelines.
The re-opening comes at a time when vaccination rates among our staff have reached nearly 90 per cent.
A further enhancement of our Rostered Routine Testing programme for staff is also being rolled out, with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing frequency differentiated based on the vaccination status of individual Team Members and their job risk profiles. This means that guest-facing staff will undergo swab tests at a frequency ranging from every three days up to every 28 days.
The integrated resort, which has hygiene and sanitisation certifications under SG Clean as well as Bureau Veritas, is committed to being vigilant on all fronts, working closely with the authorities to respond and adapt quickly to the evolving situation.
We urge all visitors to continue to play their part in this ongoing situation, whether it’s using the TraceTogether app or Token, wearing of masks, or observing safe management measures.
