Pre-registrations for January’s three-part EAG trade show at London’s ExCeL (January 14-16) are up by 20 percent, reports show director Nicola Lazenby.
The year-on-year rise also shows that 11 percent of the pre-registrations have been made under the London Casino and Gaming Show banner, which indicates strong support for the Bacta-led venture to fill the void left by the big ICE show moving from London to Barcelona.
The exhibiton in January will be a three-way attraction, with the traditional Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming Expo, forming the backdrop for the new land-based casino event LCG and SIE (Social Immersive Entertainment Expo) that will be housed in the same halls.
“Looking closely at the pre-registrations and in particular those for the LCG show,” said Lazenby, “there are no fewer than 19 countries represented within their ranks. It shows that London remains a popular destiination for a casino trade show and that we appear to have hit the right note in our planning for January.”
