Swan Events’ Karen Cooke has confirmed that the Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) will take place on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st October 2021.
Karen also revealed that the show will be moved to an impressive new venue, due to major re-development work at Olympia London: “On receiving the news that Olympia would be unavailable, we set to work on finding a suitable alternative. The UK amusements and coin-op communities have always had a great deal of affection for West London but suitable access and parking for vehicles considerably reduced the options.
“Fortunately, we have managed to secure a fantastic space at the ILEC Conference Centre, located at the IBIS Earls Court. Benefiting from a £5 million refit, the ILEC Conference Centre has been voted one of London’s most versatile exhibition spaces. Parking and access for vehicles are all on the same level, and the main hall benefits from an airy five metres of ceiling height, unencumbered by pillars.
“We feel that in the current challenging business climate the opportunity to network with friends and business colleagues will play an even more important role at ACOS and we will be complying with all Government regulations to ensure that the show will go ahead. We hope that ACOS 2021 will provide an early and much needed opportunity for suppliers and operators to re-group and move forward.”
Since its launch ACOS has enjoyed the unwavering support of the UK coin-op industry. With a safe and secure event now in prospect, the Swan Events team is determined that ACOS 2021 will be an important marker on the industry’s road to recovery.
